A little help at the table

Le Mahjong support

Questions, a scoring puzzle, or something that isn’t working? Let’s sort it out.

Getting the app

Le Mahjong is currently in beta. Install Apple’s TestFlight, then open the Le Mahjong invitation on your iPhone. TestFlight shows the latest build available to you.

Shared play now requires the profile-enabled app. If your beta build asks you to update but no newer build is available in TestFlight yet, you can still use Local play and practice. Contact us for help.

Common questions

Do I need an account or the internet?

Local sessions, practice games, rules, and pronunciation audio work offline without an account. Shared sessions require internet and, in the latest version, a verified player profile on each player’s phone.

How does Shared play work?

One player hosts a table and shares a four-letter code. Each player joins from their own phone. The host records hands; everyone follows the same scores and history. On profile-enabled versions, tablemates see your name and photo, but not your email address.

My sign-in code hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

Check the email address you entered and your spam folder. Wait at least a minute before requesting a new code, and use the most recent code. Codes expire after ten minutes. If delivery still fails, email support. We will never ask you to send us a code.

Why was I signed out on my other phone?

A player profile can be signed in on one phone at a time. Signing in on another phone ends the previous phone’s access. Your Shared history remains associated with your profile.

Can someone join halfway through a Shared game?

A new player can request an occupied seat. The host approves the replacement, and the new player continues with that seat’s score. On profile-enabled versions, the replaced player keeps read-only access to their game history.

Why does the table look different on my phone?

The table turns to your perspective so your own seat is at the bottom. Everyone keeps the same physical seat and wind.

The beta stopped opening. What should I do?

Open TestFlight and install the latest available build. TestFlight builds expire 90 days after upload. If there’s no newer build, contact support.

I can’t hear the dice or pronunciation audio.

Check your iPhone’s silent mode and volume. Practice games also have an in-app sound control.

How do I delete my account?

In the profile-enabled app, open Profile and choose the account deletion option. This removes your profile, email, stored photo, and active login. Scores remain for other participants with “Deleted player” shown in place of your profile. Deleting a seated player’s account closes that active table. Deleting the app alone does not delete server records. If you can’t access your account, email support.
